This performance cruiser is known for its clean lines, ease of handling, and speed. Whether you wish to do some coastal cruising, or go club racing, this vessel is a proven winner. With such a strong reputation for its speed and handling, that many forget what a fine cruising boat she is too.
The cockpit is roomy, and has a large 30″ wheel at the helm, and is complete with up to date sailing instruments, and navigation electronics. Onboard are a Raymarine RL72RC radar/chartplotter with a color screen and 3 current Pacific NW chips, Raymarine ST4000 autohelm, Nexus sailing instruments, Garmin GPSmap 76, and Icom 402 VHF radio. Also included is a pair of Eartec TD900 wireless headsets, and an Icom handheld VHF radio, that may need a new battery.
The standing and running rigging are tidy and looks to be in great shape. There is a Furlex 200S roller furling on the jib up front, and the mainsail is fully battened, also included are 3/4 ounce symmetrical spinnaker, and an 1 1/2 ounce asymmetrical spinnaker (new 2015), spinnaker pole,Garhauer traveler, and a double set of reefing cringles.
The cabin is large and well laid out, the woodwork is really nice and the upholstery is in great condition. It has a generous V-berth up front and a full head. The main salon has bench seating along both sides and a center table that folds on both sides. The galley is located in the starboard rear corner and includes a gimbal mounted propane 3 burner stove and oven, stainless steel sink with hot and cold water, and an icebox, with a very convenient pump to empty it out. The port corner of the cabin has the navigation station with the electrical panel above it, and a quarter berth under the port cockpit. Overall the layout of this boat is very functional.
The Owners of this boat have spent 16 years loving this vessel, but have become a little bored with cruising up and down the Columbia, and they want to explore some new activities. This boat looks great and is ready to sail away.
The current owner bought this boat in 2000 and has kept it in fantastic condition. They have used her regularly cruising the Columbia River and have been successful at local club races.
